There are several ways to maximize your productivity in writing. To be truly productive can sometimes be difficult for beginners as well as seasoned professionals. Here are a few hacks that will help you improve your productivity.

 

Create a personal   ritual or habit

If you sit down everyday at the same time with your coffee, tea, etc., and you are prepared to write, then you have created a trigger that will help prepare you mentally so your brain knows you are ready to write.

 

Daily routine

Having the same routine, when it comes to your writing helps to prepare your mind for writing. If it is something that is just part of your normal routine, you are unlikely to neglect it, nor will it frighten you because it will just be a habit. This is also good at helping to combat the dreaded writer’s block. You won’t have to force yourself to think about writing, it will simply be your way of life.

 

Personal rhythm or internal clock

We all have our own inner sense of time or rhythm. Figure out which times work best for you to accomplish the most. Try to get most of your writing done within that time period. If you do so, when you sit down to write you will be more productive with less effort.
